  1. Cart availability currently offers 3 statuses: In Stock, Out of stock and Partial.

When an item is fully in stock but can't ship for more than a day later than the requested delivery date, it is shown as "Out of stock".

Most ecommerce sites show something like "Ships no later than" or "Expected ship date".

It would be good if we could differentiate between a product that is really out-of-stock versus one that simply has a delayed ship date.

  3. It would be useful to have the feature to delete all saved orders/quote in the cart. Right now users have to delete one by one.

  4. As a user, I would like to have the flexibility to include more information on the CSV upload file which will populate to the line level details more than just material number and quantity.

Specifically speaking, PO# and requested delivery date. The purpose of the CSV is to reduce admin time in building the cart which allows users to create the full order in 1 shot but when there are line level attributes that then need to be updated, the time savings are reduced to nearly 0 since users have to touch every single line item anyway.

    If users could…

  5. If an order was placed in a unit of measure other than the default sales unit of measure, I want the same unit of measure copied into the cart when I click on "Reorder".
If the unit of measure is NOT copied, the customer is at risk of ordering the wrong quantity. For example, the original order was 10 EACH and now the cart has an order for 10 CASES.

  6. As a user in the cart needing to make a lot of changes, I want to make all of my changes and then update the cart to confirm the price and availability.
Currently, every time I touch something in the cart, I have to wait for the cart to update. When the update takes 10, 30 or 60 seconds or heaven forbid, 4 minutes, it makes the cart unusable.

It would be helpful if the user could control the timing of when the updates take place to allow making several changes without having to wait.

  7. If you upload 25 items into the cart, it will default to showing 10 lines which is good.
If I change the number of lines to display to 20 or 25, the entire cart will simulate the call to SAP even though nothing has changed.
This is an opportunity to improve user experience by avoiding a useless wait time since there is no need to call SAP.

  8. When entered or edited drop ship matches 'validated address' error message below should not be shown.

We couldn't verify the exact address you entered, but found a close match. Please make sure the drop ship mailing address is correct to ensure accurate delivery. (UNTY-1412)

We can't skip the validation message as it is part of the design, but we have made an adjustment. If a user opens the window and changes nothing (just views it), they will be able to use 'Cancel' or click outside the window without seeing the message.

  9. During cart checkout, have the SAP settings pass the allowed payment information based on the SAP customer to the sales order. This should control how the portal presents the allowed payment methods to the user at checkout.

As a user, if my customer is set up with "credit card payment only", I cannot check out by selecting "PO/Invoice".

As a user, if my customer is not set up with both credit card and Invoice, I can choose from either option at checkout.

  11. For large orders, the final sales order creation step could be done in the background in certain cases.

For example, if it takes 20-60 seconds to create the order, the user could click on the final submit and receive a message saying "Your order is being created and will soon be visible in the dashboard.

The only reason users would need to wait until the order is fully completed is if they need their order number or a copy of their order confirmation.

Some Corevist implementations do not use the Corevist order confirmation email since it is sent directly to…

  12. Issue in PRD – user created many carts, but only see 10 carts at a time and cannot locate all of her carts. When she tries to save a new one, it says error that the cart name already exists with that name while the system doesn’t allow her to retrieve the cart she is looking for based on the cart name she saved it as to place the order.

  13. We’ve already been getting good responses to the Material search enhancement. One good suggestion was to not automatically add the selected material from the search enhancement to the cart.

The users still need to put the quantity in before it adds it to the cart. When larger orders are entered it adds extra time in the order entry process to have to find the material that was automatically added

  14. Two requests related to pricing found within the Cart.

    1) Users already have the ability within a Cart, and viewing a specific line item, to hover over the Total value and see a pop-up window breakdown of the total by Gross value, rebates applied, resulting in a Net price after discount. While this ability is great, there is no visual clue letting users know this pop-up capability exists…they must stumble across this functionality on their own. Please add some hint or visual cue letting users know this information is available.

    2) Our customers often want a net price calculation on…

  16. As a Corevist employee, I would like to add a new message translation which can interpret the variables returned from SAP.

    • as a user in the cart receiving the duplicate order message, I want to know which order has already used this PO number ( EPHI-333 )
    • as a user in the cart, I want to know the available and delivered quantities when there is a problem ( EPHI-339 )

    Message translations use this syntax:
    msg|some text %{ some variable } and more text and %{ another variable }

We could improve this by allowing something like this:
    msg|some text…

  19. As a CSR entering a sales order for a distributor, the header PO is entered and is copied to the line items. I have the ability to enter/overwrite the ship-to PO for individual line items and this will be copied into the Item Sold-to PO in the SAP Order. Item Sold-to PO is inherited from the header and can be changed. When it is changed, this will be the Ship-to PO > Into the Item Sold-to PO at the SAP Item level details (VBKD table).

This is a customization that can be added to the product on a client by client basis

  20. Once a drop shipment address is added into the Cart there's no way to update the address of that drop shipment. Currently we have to completely delete the drop ship address then re-enter everything just to make a small change.
