Configure payment method restriction permission in profile

During cart checkout, have the SAP settings pass the allowed payment information based on the SAP customer to the sales order. This should control how the portal presents the allowed payment methods to the user at checkout.

As a user, if my customer is set up with "credit card payment only", I cannot check out by selecting "PO/Invoice".

As a user, if my customer is not set up with both credit card and Invoice, I can choose from either option at checkout.

    To the original Idea creator: Can the title of this Ides be updated to align with how it might be implemented? Something like: "Allow SAP settings to prevent "invoice" option at cart checkout. Only allow "credit card" for certain pre-paid customers."

    This would be based on SAP settings vs the portal user profile .

    Then the description of the ticket could be updated to something like this: "Often times certain classes of customers (Pre-paid) do not have the proper credit or payment terms to purchase. We would like to sell to them if they can be forced to pay with a credit card at cart check out. We have have settings in SAP that control if they should be credit card only. (no invoice option). The methods to control this will vary from client to client. Sometimes this is the payment term(s), other times it is a Payment guarantee field in SAP. Once this identified for the client, SAP could send the restriction to prevent invoice from showing at cart payment.
