Order creation in the background to improve speed of user experience
For large orders, the final sales order creation step could be done in the background in certain cases.
For example, if it takes 20-60 seconds to create the order, the user could click on the final submit and receive a message saying "Your order is being created and will soon be visible in the dashboard.
The only reason users would need to wait until the order is fully completed is if they need their order number or a copy of their order confirmation.
Some Corevist implementations do not use the Corevist order confirmation email since it is sent directly to the customer from SAP.
