  1. Permission to create a Cart/Quote without any Place Order permission

    usecase: organization has designated user to create cart and/or quote. Another user will find the quote to follow through with the order placement.

    Currently there is no way for a user to only have the ability to create a cart/quote without any ordering capacity. A user must have "place order" or "place_approved order" to be able to add an item to a cart.

  2. Allow cart icon count and pricing to also be updated when user is in creat a quote

    Today the cart icon is only updated with quantity and amount when users add and create a cart. Can a feature be updated to allow this icon to be updated when user is creating a quote also?

  3. Add quote item to cart

    A customer may want to simply add specific items from a quote into an order.
    Currently, a customer can only convert items from a single quote into an order. The user must copy ALL items from the quote into the cart and then delete the unwanted items.

    Ideally, the user could run the quote list screen and add individual items into a cart. The add-to-cart button at the item level would copy in the material, quantity, and the reference document/item of the quotation.

  4. Add a Quote filter option to exclude expired quotes

    In the "Search for Quotes" page, please add a quote filter option to exclude expired (invalid) quotes. The expiration (validity) is based on the valid to date of the quote. If the quote valid to date has passed, then the quote is expired or invalid.

    Released in the 3.6.0 release on 9/5/2023. This feature requires an SAP add-on upgrade. Please reach out to your Client Success project manager to enable this feature.

  5. Quote screen should offer both copy and convert

    Currently, from the quote screen, we can only convert it or change it, but we would like to duplicate it.

  6. Add customer notes option to "Quotes" review page

    We're planning an upcoming launch for customers to have the option to use the "Quote" pages (which we will be using for the purpose of inventory releasing) however unlike the "Cart" Payment page, there is no option to include customer notes. These notes then translate into the sales orders generated in SAP (header data).

    The notes contain key details related to the order (as they do for Cart) such as client review requests, pricing discussions, development clarifications etc. Without this option, this puts our launch at risk of losing visibility of these comments. There are no other options for customers…

  7. Improvements to Quotes Convert to Order button

    When searching for quotes the page has a button titled "Convert to Order". It's very challenging to track which quotes have been converted to order and which remain open.

    We should gray out the button and add “CONVERTED TO ORDER” or “ORDERED” or “CLOSED” to help user see which quotes have been fully converted already.

    Also, it would be helpful if this column on the search for quotes page could be then sorted and filtered so that users can filter only on quotes that are ready to be ordered.

    Initial version released on 12/13/2022 included a workaround to save the cart as a quote. As of the 2.29.0 release on 5/18/2023 we have added a copy quote button to the quote display page. See the 2.29.0 release notes for more information.

  10. Show quote relationships to a delivery and invoice

    Similar to how we can look at an order and see it's relationships to a delivery and invoice, we need a similar functionality for quotes.

    For example, I can look at a order and see the delivery that was created from it as well as the invoice. We need to be able to look at a quote and see the order that was created against the quote.
