Backorders and open orders reporting
Customers want to quickly and easily see open order items, also known as "backorders".
To do this currently, a user must choose the order search and then edit the filter to choose the shipped status of "open" and then change the date going back a couple of years.
After the list is returned, it includes ALL line items and not just the unshipped lines.
This is especially frustrating for users of the classic UI where they could set "Open orders" as their favorite/default. For them, it was 2 clicks from the home page to get their list of backordered items.
In general, when setting an open order lines filter, the date range really isn't appropriate since orders are typically either filled or cancelled.

We have a number of customers who place large orders, containing hundreds of products = order line items. It is often the case where a number of items within an order may be backordered, and do not ship at the same time as other items on the order.
As such, our customers are looking for a quick way to see products (open order line items) within an order at a single glance. It is too inefficient for our customers to see a list of open orders, click on the order to expand details and then scroll through MANY line items to just see the one or two items that are backordered; then have to click on the next order and do the same thing over and over. The priority is to see in one screen (without additional clicking) the list of open line items backordered on any open orders at a glance.
We'd like to see this capability added into the Orders section of the WebShop. Please note, this capability already exists within the CCC (older Corevist) platform and we're just asking for the same capability to be added into the newer NCC Webshop. I've attached screenprints from the CCC shop providing examples of the capability and displayed fields we are requesting. Thanks in advance for your help!
